Since 2012 the “Rotary Scholarship for Excellence” program has linked the club with partner schools to provide top high-school students with mentoring and financial support.

A new joint project of RC Wien Stadtpark and RC Sarajevo extends support to Kinderarche Sarajevo by organizing workshops for 15 children who need individualized assistance and mentoring during the 2024/2025 school year.

For over two decades Rotary Club Sarajevo has awarded scholarships to talented high-school students across Bosnia and Herzegovina, combining financial and mentoring support that guides them toward excellence.

RC Sarajevo and RC Sarajevo Ilidža delivered tailored aid packages to the Bjelave children’s home and the Center for blind and partially sighted youth, focusing on safety and social support during the pandemic.

Despite the pandemic and cancellation of the traditional concert, RC Sarajevo continues the scholarship program targeting 20 high-school students via a transparent web application and interviews.

In 2019 the program secured funding for new scholarships and mentoring support by collaborating with high schools and partners.

During the May 2014 floods RC Sarajevo and partner clubs supplied pumps, 60 dehumidifiers, 1,500 mosquito nets, and essential furniture for affected families in Sarajevo, Maglaj, Olovo, and other areas.

Two-day cleanup of the Miljacka riverbanks along the Dariva walkway, supported by RC Northampton and local utility partners.

Members of Rotary Club Sarajevo have gladly accepted to support the project initiated by RC Sarajevo International Delta for the construction of a Support Center for people with disabilities in Sarajevo

“Bridge to Bosnia” project to support pediatric surgery at KC Sarajevo, including heart operations by Dr. Wollonek’s team with RC Perchtoldsdorf and RC Nürnberg-Fürth.

Support for the Association of People with Cerebral Palsy and Muscular Dystrophy in Goražde via workshop upgrades and an adapted vehicle, in partnership with District 1950 (RC Gera).

Training program for 24 young unemployed people from Sarajevo Canton covering IT (ECDL), social and business skills (Xpert PBS), and Cambridge English, run with RC Sarajevo, RC Torino Est, and RODA.

As part of its annual activities for the implementation of the New Generation Services program, Rotary Club Sarajevo (RCS) awards scholarships every year to promising students attending one of the partner high schools in Sarajevo: Second Gymnasium Sarajevo, Fourth Gymnasium Sarajevo, and Music High School Sarajevo.

Rotary Club Sarajevo marked the 100th anniversary of Rotary International by opening a memorial fountain in the center of Sarajevo on October 25, 2011. The memorial fountain is designed in the shape of the Rotary wheel and with other symbols of the Rotary movement. The Rotary fountain is located in the city center, in the park between the Municipality Center and Canton Sarajevo headquarters on one side, and the Miljacka River and Skenderija on the other

The aid campaign for Pakistan was conducted at the District 1910 level. On behalf of Rotary Club Sarajevo, a donation in the amount of 400.00 KM was presented.

Project implementation officially began on July 29, 2011, and the project was completed in mid-August 2011, with three mines found and destroyed at the location.

Calendar purchase project offered by Guayaquil Rotary Club District 4400, Ecuador. Rotary Club Sarajevo ordered 20 calendars, and the aid value is 240.00 US dollars

On September 24, 2010 (Friday) at 7:00 PM, the opening of an art exhibition by academic painter Vinko Železnikar (member of Rotary Club Domžale) was held at the "Boris Smoje" Art Gallery. This was followed by a joint dinner at the "Pivnica HS" restaurant

On June 25, 2010, the Red Cross of Canton Sarajevo received and stored 560 new wheelchairs at the Education and Recreation Center "Ušivak" in Hadžići

On the occasion of the celebration of Goražde municipality day, on September 18, 2008, Rotary Club Sarajevo handed over the demined area Kazagići 3 with an area of 14,297 m2 to the citizens of Goražde municipality – village of Kazagići. The project value is approximately 12,000 Euros
