Donation to Public Institution "Home for Children Without Parental Care", Bjelave
On September 24, 2010 (Friday) at 7:00 PM, the opening of an art exhibition by academic painter Vinko Železnikar (member of Rotary Club Domžale) was held at the "Boris Smoje" Art Gallery. This was followed by a joint dinner at the "Pivnica HS" restaurant
Rotary Club Domžale from Slovenia, as part of this event and in cooperation with Rotary Club Sarajevo, donated funds in the amount of 3,500 € (euros) to the Public Institution "Home for Children Without Parental Care", Bjelave.
The donation was accompanied by the official presentation of the exhibition by artist Vinko Železnikar (RC Domžale). This exhibition showcases years of intercultural dialogue efforts between Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, actively supported by RC Domžale and RC Sarajevo. The first exhibition of this kind was the exhibition of Admir Mujkić from Sarajevo held in Domžale.
The donation was used to purchase necessary equipment and aids - Speech therapy equipment for children with hearing and speech impairments, LCD TVs, and other equipment.
