Training for Young and Unemployed People 2014
Training program for 24 young unemployed people from Sarajevo Canton covering IT (ECDL), social and business skills (Xpert PBS), and Cambridge English, run with RC Sarajevo, RC Torino Est, and RODA.
Rotary Club Sarajevo, together with Rotary Club Turin East and the organization RODA, delivered the project “Training for young and unemployed people.” Twenty-four participants from Sarajevo Canton, up to 30 years old, attended the program.
The training covered IT per ECDL standards, social and business skills per Xpert PBS, a Cambridge English program, and work on motivation and self-esteem. The project value was 16,847 KM. Training ran from 02.12.2013 to 28.04.2014, and nine participants found employment during the program.
A certificate ceremony was held on 28.04.2014 at RODA’s premises with RC Turin East representatives (President Giuseppe Perla and incoming District Governor Enrico Raiteri), as well as RC Sarajevo and RODA. Rotary friends from Turin East voiced strong satisfaction and recommended continuing the project with increased funding.
