Rotary Club Sarajevo (RCS) once again secured scholarships for students from its partner high schools in Sarajevo and on November 22, 2016 held a ceremony to sign the annual scholarship agreements.


Every year, as part of its New Generation Services program, RCS awards scholarships to top students from partner schools: First Gymnasium, Second Gymnasium, Fourth Gymnasium, the Music High School, the Civil Engineering and Geodesy High School, the Electrical Engineering High School for Energy, the Medical High School, and the High School of Applied Arts.


Eligible students are exemplary second- and third-grade pupils with an average grade of 4.0 or higher who are active in curricular and extracurricular activities and who continue to develop through sports, languages, the arts, or volunteer work. The scholarships cover 10 months of the school year and amount to 100 KM per month.


Seventy students applied this year, and the selected scholarship recipients are: Adna Alić, Alisa Džeferović, Hanna Helać, Benjamin Bojanić, Mirza Sijerčić, Ivor Javor Korjenić, Hasić Vahidin, Samija Kurjaković, Alem Alić, Iman Muratović, Ilma Kulić, Lamija Halilović, Nedim Habibović, Nermina Delić, and Irnes Laburda.
