Rotary Gala Ball for the Special Olympics

The Rotary Gala Ball, to be held at the Armed Forces of BiH Hall, aims to co-finance the BiH delegation's trip to the Special Winter Olympics in Graz from March 14 to 25. Kada Selimović, executive director of Special Olympics BiH, noted that 16 athletes will compete in alpine skiing and cross-country skiing and that the total cost, including equipment and preparations, is around 136,000 KM.

Each invitation to the Gala Ball serves as a donation to the fund supporting these athletes, while the Rotary community in BiH raises additional funds throughout the year. RC Sarajevo president Mirza Ponjavić highlighted that Austria will provide accommodation, meals, and local transport for the delegation in Graz, and Rotaract Sarajevo members are contributing through various initiatives.
