Sarajevo hosts District 1910 Conference
For the first time, the District 1910 Conference was held in Sarajevo, gathering 140 clubs and 500+ participants, featuring RC Cazin’s charter and the “Rotary for Art” concert.

For the first time, Sarajevo hosted the Rotary District 1910 Conference, bringing together 140 clubs and over 500 participants from southeast Austria and across Bosnia. The program opened Friday with a welcome party at “Apetit,” followed by Saturday’s full-day conference where the newly founded Rotary Club Cazin (24 members, president Esmira Kapić; charter presented with Mensur Mulalić and Refko Rošić in attendance) was introduced. The event was supported by Governor Herbert Pfeiffer with help from local clubs—Rotary Club Sarajevo, Rotaract Sarajevo, Rotary Sarajevo International Delta, and Rotary Club Sarajevo-Ilidža.
As the finale of the Rotary year, a humanitarian concert “Rotary for Art” was held Sunday at BKC, featuring arranger/composer Ammar Jažić and baritone Marko Kalajanović with a symphony orchestra of musicians from Sarajevo and Zenica. Ticket proceeds were donated for scholarships to Bosnia’s most talented students, and the handover from president Emir Arslanagić to the new president of Rotary Club Sarajevo, Adnan Kovačević, took place.
