As part of a joint action by the Rotary community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, 65 newborns were gifted in Sarajevo, East Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla, Bihać, Brčko, Bijeljina, Doboj, and Zenica.

The initiative, called “Rotary Babies 2025,” aims to support families and promote natality in our country. It includes symbolic gifts and assistance for families of babies born on this special day, sending a message of solidarity and unity.

Through this effort, Rotary clubs across BiH reaffirm their long-standing commitment to humanitarian work and improving quality of life in local communities.

The action carries special significance because it marks a major jubilee — 120 years since the founding of the Rotary movement, a global network of people dedicated to making positive change worldwide.

Founded on February 23, 1905, in Chicago, the Rotary movement today brings together more than 1.4 million members in over 200 countries. Rotary clubs are recognized for humanitarian projects, promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water, and supporting education. The “Rotary Babies 2025” campaign is another step in strengthening these values in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
