Rotarians Sponsor Children Without Parents
RC Portorož member Tomislav Sumić visited RC Sarajevo and shared how his club supports children in BiH.

On January 24, 2012, RC Portorož member Tomislav Sumić visited RC Sarajevo and spoke about his personal connection to the city. Though born in Sarajevo, he grew up in Slovenia, yet often returns. Near the end of the war in BiH he met two siblings who lost their parents and, together with his club, arranged monthly stipends for them; several RC Portorož members now support other children in Bosnia as well.
Tomislav, a mechanical engineer, also agreed to present a talk on solar energy. RC Portorož and RC Sarajevo exchanged pennants during his visit.
