Concert of the Intercultural Youth Choir Visoko and Koblenz Choir
Over 600 attendees enjoyed Karl Jenkins's "The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace" at BKC Sarajevo.

On Friday, April 25, 2014, the Intercultural Youth Choir from Visoko and the Chamber Youth Choir of the Singschule Liebfrauenkirche Koblenz, accompanied by Sarajevo's Bellarte orchestra, performed at the BKC Sarajevo hall. More than 600 guests experienced Karl Jenkins's "The Armed Man – A Mass for Peace", a work that blends musical styles and religious motives to deliver a powerful message of peace.
Composed during the 1990s Balkan conflicts and dedicated to Kosovo war survivors, the piece weaves elements of Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism along with texts from global writers. The joint effort strengthened friendships between young people from different cultures while enhancing their musical skills. The intercultural project was co-funded by Rotary Club Koblenz Deutsches-Eck, Rotary Club Sarajevo, and Rotary International.
