Anniversary Marked for the Cerebral Palsy Association Goražde
The association celebrated its anniversary and showcased an EUR 85,000 project supported by Rotary Clubs Gera and Sarajevo.
In cooperation with Rotary Clubs from District 1950 Gera and Rotary Club Sarajevo, the Cerebral Palsy Association Goražde implemented an EUR 85,000 project.
Mr. Koob attended on behalf of Rotary Club Gera and extended special thanks to Rotary Club Sarajevo for its support. From the local community the event was attended by Bosnian-Podrinje Canton Goražde Prime Minister Emir Oković, the minister for social policy, health, displaced persons and refugees Damir Dučić, the mayor of Goražde Muhamed Ramović, and many business representatives.
All guests promised continued support for the Association's work. It was highlighted that the city of Gera, Goražde's twin city, will provide EUR 1,500,000 through EU funds for infrastructure and assistance to people with special needs.
Rotary Club Sarajevo was represented by Mr. Haso Hubijar, who congratulated the Association on its anniversary, conveyed greetings from RC Sarajevo members, and wished further success.
